Don’t Miss theTreasures of Saint-Petersburg

One year ago I and my classmates made a visit to the Hermitage. Maybe, it is unusual when local residents visit a place of interest which is so popular among foreign tourists, but I have to confess we had never been there before. So, as we live in Saint-Petersburg, it wasn't hard to get there: we went on foot. When we got there, I was surprised by the luxury: pictures, statues, stairs and ceilings of gold and other precious materials. We were moving from one pictures to another one, from one s

tatue to another statue. There was a group of Japanese tourists who were filming everything they saw. It was very funny! After three hours of walking we became very tired. Unfortunately, we saw only 2 or 3% of everything possible. However, when we got out of the Hermitage one girl breathed out: "Splendid!" She was too tired to say more. We agreed with her and went to the nearest café.
